About The Position

Sweetwater, the nation's number one online retailer of music instruments and pro audio gear, is looking for a passionate, experienced Music tech Instructor at our Academy of Music and Technology! In this exciting role, you will have the opportunity to work side by side with the area's top instructors and hundreds of students of all skill levels. Duties will include the planning, teaching, and communication with The Academy of Music and Technology students.

Requirements

• Significant prior teaching experience on Dj’ing, live sound, and audio production
• Passion for helping students grow musically
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Excellent organization and time management skills
• Bachelor's degree

Responsibilities

• Teaching and instructing all scheduled students
• Ensure that each and every student has an excellent lesson experience
• Instructing and guiding students of all ages and skill levels to meet their musical goals
• Develop an appropriate lesson plan based on student skill level
