About The Position
Grace Music School is seeking a fun and professional part-time staff member to help administer our Woodbury, NY music school. This staff member will serve as the primary point of contact for our students, families, and teachers to ensure the smooth functioning of our day-to-day operations. This position is part-time and requires 17-20 hours of availability. The desired hours for this position are the following: Wednesday to Friday afternoons/evenings Saturdays 8am - 12/1pm. The successful candidate will be an organized, motivated self-starter with a strong customer service mindset. A demonstrated interest in music and music education would be an asset. About Ensemble Schools Ensemble Schools is a collaborative network of community-driven Music & Dance schools. While each school maintains its unique identity, they share resources to ensure collective success. This posting is for Grace Music School, located both in Northport and Woodbury. Grace Music School aims to provide exceptional music education to students of all ages; cultivate a life-long love of music in a nurturing and caring environment, and help our students realize their potential as musicians and in other areas of life. We are members of the New York State School Music Association (NYSSMA), and Suffolk County Music Educators Association (SCMEA), and are a Steinway and Sons Education Partner with all Steinway-designed pianos at our school. We have nearly 50 music teachers who have either conservatory or music school training and most have professional performance experience.

Responsibilities
- Greeting students arriving for lessons and ensuring that teachers stay on schedule
- Responding to scheduling-related phone calls and emails from students and families
- Interfacing with teachers to help them manage their student schedules
- Monthly social media posts and meetings
- General administrative tasks as needed
