About The Position
The Newton Public Schools seeks skilled instrumental instructors to teach strings, percussion, and wind instrument lessons through our Music Lesson Extension Program . Lessons are held in middle school studio spaces outside of regular school hours as arranged by instructors and families.
Requirements
- Proficiency on instrument(s) taught
- Strong communication and organizational skills
Nice To Haves
- Teaching experience with elementary and middle school students preferred
