THE ROLE A Music Hall VIP Host will receive hourly pay plus commission based upon sales made, doing so by giving concert information, upselling VIP packages, and communicating with crew members and clients to ensure that guests always receive highly personalized services with the top tier standards t o create unique and memorable concert experiences.

Requirements

Applicants for employment in the U.S. must possess work authorization which does not require sponsorship by the employer for a visa

Skill in diplomacy, handling multiple tasks, verbal skills, organizational skills, and interpersonal skills

Nice To Haves

High School Diploma or equivalent
E xperience in a high volume, fast paced work environment
Cash handling experience
Point of Sales knowledge, preferably MICROS
Willing to commute to downtown area (discounted $7 parking available daily)

Responsibilities

Maintain line of sight/atmosphere control by circulating through your work area during shift
Follow House of Blues safety, health, and sanitation standards
Assist other employees as needed
Follow opening and closing procedures, checking out with manager on duty
Adhere to all HOB policies and procedures
Cash handling; bank procedures (cash pull/check out) and payment processing (on point of sales terminal) for both cash and/or credit transactions
Required to occasionally work special events scheduled within the venue
Sell Opera Boxes, bottle service and reserved stools in advance of every show and maintain monthly sales goal
Be present at show s to upsell available VIP inventory to concert patrons
Serve as a resource of information for VIP clients regarding their experience within the House of Blues venue , including concert times, available parking, etc.
Give proper recognition to Foundation Members, Live Nation Executives and VIP clients to instill appreciation for their membership and patronage , building strong relationships
Coordinate operations on night of shows with Ops Director, servers, and security to e xecute nightly VIP setup
Ensure guests are always receiving highly personal service
