Founded in 1888, Union Gospel Mission of Tarrant County is a united Christian organization and ministry dedicated to providing love, hope, respect, and a new beginning for homeless women, men, and families. UGM-TC is funded entirely by the generosity of the community and offers a residency program for individuals looking to maximize their potential and transition out of homelessness. Through the programs and services provided, individuals develop essential life skills to become independent, productive members of our community. UGM-TC is God’s healthy place to end homelessness one person at a time. Come serve with us! Union Gospel Mission is seeking a part-time Music Director & Men's Assisting Chaplain. Flexible hours; Wednesdays required, and occasional weekend hours to preach chapel services when we do not have a volunteer preacher on the schedule. It is strongly recommended that the Music Director & Men's Assisting Chaplain live a short distance away (less than 15 minutes) so as to be quickly accessible on short notice. The Christian Music Director & Assisting Men’s Chaplain is a part-time ministry position at UGM-TC, a Christ-centered rescue mission serving individuals experiencing homelessness, poverty, and life crisis. The primary responsibility of this role is to develop, lead, and sustain a meaningful choral and worship music program that supports the Mission’s chapel services and spiritual environment. In addition to music leadership, the position provides secondary spiritual support through Christian education, teaching, and preaching, helping to share the hope of the Gospel and encourage spiritual growth among staff, residents, and volunteers.
