CASUAL Museum Security Officer
About The Position
This is a non-benefits-eligible, on-call position in the Art Museum. The Museum Security Officer has general responsibility for public safety, property protection, and is responsible for maintaining order and secure conditions within the Museum and on the Museum grounds. Officers perform a variety of duties, following policies and procedures involving the protection of cultural properties belonging to; under the care of the Museum of Art at Bowdoin College, Duties Include supervising visitors, responding to emergency situations, observing for fire, theft, vandalism, and other threats,and other similar duties as assigned.
