Requirements

• Organized with acute attention to detail and follow-through.
• Strong computer skills, with experience with Wide Orbit and Matrix, and Microsoft Office products preferred.
• Time management
• Acute negotiation and closing skills
• Must meet the Gray Television driving requirements and have a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Setting revenue goals and creating a plan(s) to reach those goals.
• Building and managing a high-performance and successful sales team.
• Understand the Meridian market to create dynamic broadcast and digital sales initiatives.
• Manage and price inventory, forecast revenue, and create sales reports.
• Strong communication skills with good follow-through and work ethic.
• Build relationships with clients and ad agencies.
• Accompany the team on sales calls. Train and motivate both youthful and veteran staff.
