The Florida Center for Behavioral Health Workforce (FCBHW) was commissioned by the Florida Legislature through Senate Bill 330 (2024) "to support an adequate, highly skilled, resilient, and innovative workforce that meets the current and future human resources needs of the state’s behavioral health system in order to provide high-quality care, services, and supports to Floridians with, or at risk of developing, behavioral health conditions through original research, policy analysis, evaluation, and development and dissemination of best practices." FCBHW is proudly housed at University of South Florida in the College of Behavioral and Community Sciences. In this position, the Multimedia Officer partners with the Communication & Marketing Manager to plan, manage and execute multimedia projects that advance FCBHW’s communication goals. The role supports video production efforts by developing narratives, storyboards and visual concepts that result in polished, high‑quality products aligned with established communications goals and project plans. This position reports directly to the Communications and Marketing Manager. The Multimedia Officer supports FCBHW communication needs by managing end-to-end multimedia production, including preproduction planning, on-site setup and execution and postproduction editing. Responsibilities include overseeing filming and lighting, configuring and operating audience and video equipment, producing animations, recording and producing podcasts and providing photography services. This role requires hands-on technical execution, including setting lighting levels, managing audio capture and operating production equipment during live and recorded shoots. Additionally, this position supports the production of live video content for virtual events and web-based programming, including on-site setup, operation of audio and video systems and real-time troubleshooting to ensure seamless execution.
