About The Position

Join the CrowdGen team as an Independent Contractor for a Multimedia Humor Annotation Specialist project.

Most AI systems totally miss humor. They can repeat what happened in a video, but they don’t really get what makes it funny - the twist, the timing, the attitude, the cultural reference, or who it’s actually funny for. That’s where you come in.

We’re looking for teens aged 15–19 — especially those who are quick to catch memes, pop‑culture jokes, and other cultural references — to help us break this “literal robot” problem and teach AI how real humor works.

Requirements

• Teens aged 15–19
• Quick to catch memes, pop‑culture jokes, and other cultural references

Responsibilities

• Watch short videos and annotate the humor in them.
• Explain the funny part (not just retell the video)
• Pick the type of humor and tone
• Say who it’s funny for (kids, teens, adults, etc.)
• Mark clips that aren’t really humor or break the rules
