Multi-Site Maintenance Supervisor We’re looking for a Multi-Site Maintenance Supervisor who takes pride in their craft, leads with confidence, and thrives in a role where every day brings something new. Requirements

  • EPA certification required, or ability to receive within three months of hire date.
  • CPO certification, or the ability to receive within three months of hire date.
  • You have 5+ years of proven experience in maintenance operations, preferably in multifamily housing.
  • You’re skilled in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general building systems.
  • You’re organized, proactive, and confident in managing multiple priorities.
  • You have strong communication and customer service skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Certified Apartment Maintenance Tech (CAMT) is an advantage.
  • Prior experience in a supervisory or leadership role is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Provide effective leadership, training, and daily direction to multiple locations with a team of maintenance technicians, grounds, and housekeepers.
  • Ensure a preventative maintenance plan is followed, which includes schedules, inspections, and repairs.
  • Ensure that maintenance activities are conducted efficiently, promptly, and in accordance with relevant regulations and guidelines.
  • Conduct regular inspections of the property to identify maintenance needs, safety hazards, and potential issues.
  • Develop strategies to address identified problems and ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
  • Coordinate and prioritize maintenance requests from residents and property management.
  • Assign tasks to maintenance service team members and ensure the timely completion of service requests.
  • Ensure apartment homes are made ready for upcoming new residents.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and expenses.
  • Oversee relationships with external vendors, contractors, and suppliers.
  • Obtain competitive bids for services and negotiate contracts.
  • Monitor vendor performance and ensure the quality of work while optimizing costs.
  • Interact with residents in a professional and courteous manner, addressing their concerns and ensuring the timely resolution of maintenance issues.
  • Foster positive relationships with residents to enhance resident satisfaction and retention.
  • Assist in the monitoring of the maintenance and capital budgets.
  • Control expenses, identify cost-saving opportunities, and maintain accurate records of maintenance-related expenditures.
  • Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, codes, and standards.
