Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician 1st shift
About The Position
The Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician works independently and with other plant personnel to ensure maximum equipment efficiency and effectiveness. This role is involved with equipment installations and facility maintenance. DNUS, Inc. is a high-end technology and quality-driven automotive company, established its first venture in the United States in 2019, primarily serving the Mazda and Toyota automotive industry. Daikyo Corporation, the parent company, was established in 1953 in Japan as a manufacturer of plastic products for automotive, machinery, electric appliance, vessels, and general household purposes.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- Aptitude for skilled trade (mechanical, electrical, systems, controls, process)
- Ability to read, interpret and analyze electrical/mechanical schematics, block diagrams, ladder diagrams, and flow charts
- Possess basic knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics
- Possess electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic troubleshooting skills
- Must be computer literate
- Have a working knowledge and understanding of HAZMAT, MSDS, EPA, and OSHA requirements
- Good time management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects
- Must have good interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with production staff
Nice To Haves
- Automotive manufacturing experience desired
- Industrial welding experience a plus
Responsibilities
- Provide support to the manufacturing processes by repairing industrial equipment including electrical components, motors, pumps, hydraulic systems, HVAC, compressors, water systems chillers
- Complete preventative maintenance tasks to ensure proper functioning of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
- Perform Kaizen activities
- Manage their specific department’s Inventory
- Input work with vendors for quotes and input PR
- Meet all other requirements as assigned
