About The Position

DuBois Integrity Academy (DIA) is hiring an MTSS Coordinator for the 2026-2027 school year. DuBois Integrity STEM Academy’s academic program is built on two main pillars that drive significant achievement: STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) combined with Blended Learning. We implement theme-based, interdisciplinary, integrated curricula to enhance instruction and learning. A mix of carefully managed behavioral studies and innovative neurological research supports theme-based education as a way to improve opportunities for all students to succeed. The MTSS Coordinator is responsible for leading the implementation and ongoing improvement of a Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) framework to ensure all students receive appropriate academic, behavioral, and social-emotional interventions. This role supports data-based decision-making, collaborates with staff, and promotes equitable student outcomes.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field (required)
3–5 years of teaching or student support experience
Experience with RTI/MTSS frameworks and intervention strategies
Experience in analyzing student data and progress monitoring
Valid teaching certification
Strong knowledge of MTSS/RTI frameworks
Data analysis and problem-solving skills
Effective communication and collaboration
Coaching and professional development abilities
Organizational and leadership talents

School or district office environment
Frequent collaboration with staff and students
May require attending meetings outside regular school hours

Nice To Haves

Master’s degree in Education, Special Education, School Psychology, or related field
Tier I Leadership certification
Leadership or instructional coaching endorsement

Responsibilities

Lead the design, implementation, and evaluation of the MTSS framework across the school or district
Ensure alignment of MTSS with curriculum, instruction, and assessment practices
Support fidelity of Tier 1 (core instruction), Tier 2 (targeted), and Tier 3 (intensive) interventions for K-8
Facilitate data collection, analysis, and interpretation of student performance data
Guide staff in using data to identify students in need of support
Monitor the progress of interventions and adjust strategies as needed
Coordinate and facilitate MTSS/RTI team meetings
Collaborate with teachers, administrators, counselors, and specialists
Partner with families to support student success
Provide training and coaching to staff on MTSS processes, interventions, and best practices
Support teachers in implementing evidence-based instructional and behavioral strategies
Assist in selecting and implementing research-based interventions
Ensure proper documentation of interventions and student progress
Support compliance with state and federal requirements
Promote equitable practices and reduce disproportionality in student outcomes
Support the integration of academic, behavioral, and social-emotional systems
