About The Position

Sole Hire is supporting a growing Managed Service Provider (MSP) that delivers IT hardware, software, and infrastructure solutions to clients across North America and Europe. We are seeking a Procurement Specialist I with 2+ years of experience to support day-to-day purchasing operations, order coordination, and vendor communication. This is an execution-focused role with opportunity for growth into more strategic procurement functions over time. What You’ll Do (Day-to-Day Execution) Purchasing Operations Process purchase requisitions Issue and track purchase orders Expedite urgent orders as needed Resolve invoice discrepancies with vendors and finance Maintain accurate procurement documentation Order & Vendor Coordination Prepare quotes using vendor portals (Dell, Lenovo, TD Synnex, etc.) Confirm pricing, availability, and lead times Track shipments and provide order status updates Support vendor onboarding documentation Assist with contract renewal tracking Tracking & Reporting Support Update and maintain vendor database records Track software license and hardware warranty renewals Assist with inventory tracking and reporting Help maintain purchase cycle time tracking Support spend reporting and procurement KPI tracking Logistics & Inventory Support Coordinate with warehouse teams on order fulfillment Assist with inventory reconciliation and documentation Support RMA / return processing

Requirements

  • MSP EXPERIENCE IS A MUST
  • 2+ years of experience in procurement, purchasing, order management, or operations
  • Experience in processing purchase orders and tracking shipments
  • Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy
  • Comfortable working in vendor portals and ticketing/ERP systems
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple orders and deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Nice To Haves

  • IT hardware or MSP procurement experience
  • Familiarity with Autotask, NetSuite, or similar systems
  • Exposure to inventory or renewal tracking processes

Responsibilities
