About The Position

The MSL (Medical Science Liaison) role at AbbVie involves maintaining updated medical knowledge within an assigned therapeutic area. This position is responsible for creating and updating medical training and communication materials, and efficiently delivering this training and communication. The MSL will proactively participate in PPD medical projects and events, acting as a coordinator for activities such as study operations and meeting organization. A key aspect of the role is to develop advocacy for the company and its products through sustained liaison with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and prescribers. The MSL will also provide medical advice on PPD product medical communication and respond to medical inquiries, all under the guidance of medical advisors. Additionally, the role includes coaching junior team members and may involve people management responsibilities.

Requirements

• Medical doctor background of the assigned therapeutic area with bachelor degree or above
• Good communication and coordination skills or potentials
• Fluent English in reading, writing and oral communication

Nice To Haves

• Working experience in medical dept. of multinational pharmaceutical company and related dept. in hospital is a plus

Responsibilities

• Maintain updated medical knowledge of assigned therapeutic area
