Join us and do things you never dreamed possible. The successful MSHA Electrician candidate will be responsible for implementing and maintaining the Savage Maintenance Program. You will be responsible for all maintenance and electrical work at our Local Savage Operations.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of industrial electrician experience
  • Current MSHA Surface Certification
  • Read, write and understand English
  • Follow written and/or verbal instructions
  • Comprehend electrical drawings
  • Basic computer (XP, windows, excel, etc.) a must

Nice To Haves

  • Industrial or Power plant experience a plus
  • Electrical certifications a plus

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and execute regular and irregular maintenance schedules on electrical systems around the operation
  • Exhibit knowledge of high voltage switchgear, motors, MSHA regulations, instrumentation, switches, controls and other electrical components in an industrial setting
  • Work a flexible work schedule in a safe manor with minimal supervision
  • Team player with abilities to work with other team members
  • Willing to do any task(s) that require(s) attention
