About The Position

- The MS Therapist (Unlicensed) at LIFESTREAM BEHAVIORAL CENTER is responsible for providing therapeutic services to clients under the supervision of a licensed therapist. The role involves supporting clients in managing mental health challenges, developing treatment plans, and facilitating therapeutic sessions to promote mental well-being and recovery.

Requirements

Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field from an accredited institution.
Experience in providing therapeutic services in a clinical setting.
Familiarity with mental health disorders and treatment methodologies.
Experience working with diverse populations and age groups.
Previous experience in case management and developing treatment plans.
Strong understanding of therapeutic techniques and evidence-based practices.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical guidelines.
Proficient in documentation and record-keeping.
Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks.

Responsibilities

Conduct initial assessments and gather relevant information about clients' mental health status and needs.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with licensed therapists.
Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions using evidence-based therapeutic techniques.
Monitor clients' progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure effective outcomes.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and documentation in compliance with organizational and legal standards.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate care and provide comprehensive support to clients.
Participate in regular supervision and training sessions to enhance professional development and ensure adherence to best practices.
Provide crisis intervention and support to clients as needed.
Educate clients and their families about mental health conditions and available resources.
Uphold confidentiality and ethical standards in all client interactions and professional activities.
