About The Position

Responsible for the implementation of an Acumatica MRP system into the manufacturing process. You will provide leadership as the subject matter expert of Acumatica MRP modules. Responsible for ensuring training of all support departments is prepared and completed prior to implementation. This is an individual contributor role with no direct reports. This position reports to the Global Supply Chain Manager.

Requirements

  • 3 – 5 years working with MRP (SAP, JDEdwards), experience, experience with Acumatica a plus. Previous experience implementing an MRP system a plus. Supply chain, planning and experience in a manufacturing environment required.

Responsibilities

  • Developing and managing project plans, timelines.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams (e.g. customer service, operations, procurement).
  • Ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project goals.
  • Configure and customize the MRP system to meet specific business requirements.
  • Develop and document system configurations.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving system issues.
  • Ensuring data integrity within the MRP system.
  • Develop reports and dashboards to track key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Develop and deliver training materials and sessions for users.
  • Providing ongoing support and guidance to users on system functionality and best practices.
  • Acting as a subject matter expert on the MRP system.
  • Identifying opportunities to optimize business processes and workflows.
  • Recommending and implementing improvements to enhance system efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Responsible for training of support roles within the team that are required to use Acumatica.
  • Interface with responsible managers to implement production schedules
  • Liaise and communicate with other departments and ensure an effective interface is maintained
  • Provide technical expertise to the team
  • Support, comply with and ensure complicity with Health & Safety regulations, the Company Handbook, Quality and Environmental standards, and all other Company policies and procedures
  • Self-directed and self-driven, requiring minimal supervision
