About The Position

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Product Management, or equivalent work experience
  • 3+ years of experience in supply chain, production planning, product management, or other relevant experience
  • Hands-on experience working in an MRP or ERP system (SAP strongly preferred)
  • Strong working knowledge of inventory fundamentals (raw materials, WIP, finished goods)

Nice To Haves

  • Experience planning in food, beverage, dairy, or other process manufacturing environments
  • Experience managing trade-offs between demand, capacity, inventory, and service levels
  • Comfort working cross-functionally with production, procurement, quality, and logistics teams
  • Experience supporting inter-plant or network-wide planning
  • Strong Excel skills for analysis and exception management
  • Familiarity with planning parameters such as safety stock, lead times, lot sizing, and sequencing constraints

Responsibilities

  • Own short- and mid-term production plans that balance customer demand, milk supply, capacity, inventory targets, and operational constraints
  • Execute and maintain MRP outputs, including work orders, material requirements, safety stocks, lead times, and planning parameters
  • Manage raw material, packaging, pallet, and reprocessed inventories to ensure material availability, freshness, and proper rotation
  • Adjust production schedules in response to demand changes, supply disruptions, quality holds, downtime, or yield variability
  • Partner daily with production, procurement, quality, logistics, and customer service to resolve planning conflicts and execution gaps
  • Optimize production sequencing, blending, and changeovers to support service levels, cost targets, and plant efficiency
  • Identify planning issues (material shortages, excess inventory, infeasible schedules) and drive corrective actions
  • Support inter-plant transfers and coordination to balance network-wide supply and demand
