About The Position

As our next MRO Warehouse Attendant, you will be at the forefront of ensuring an efficient flow of materials, tools, spare parts, and services essential to maintenance operations, repairs, and overall plant functionality. Your experience in MRO warehouse operations, technical purchasing, vendor negotiation, and inventory management will be key in supporting operational continuity and cost‑effective performance.

Requirements

  • College graduate or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Previous experience as an MRO Warehouse Attendant, preferably within the automotive industry or maintenance‑support environment.
  • Excellent negotiation skills and mechanical and/or electrical aptitude.
  • Proven ability to coordinate purchasing and inventory responsibilities.
  • Excellent communication skills, interpersonal effectiveness, and strong organizational abilities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office; familiarity with systems such as EAM and CMS ERP preferred.
  • High integrity, dependability, a strong sense of urgency, and results orientation.
  • Forklift license or willingness to obtain one.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in industrial purchasing or technical stores.
  • Familiarity with preventive maintenance workflows or maintenance planning systems.

Responsibilities

  • Obtain quotes and negotiate delivery terms with vendors to ensure the best price, quality, and service.
  • Follow up on purchase orders to guarantee timely deliveries.
  • Validate requisitions, secure approval signatures, and ensure proper procurement of goods and services.
  • Receive inventory, notify requesters, store material in assigned locations, and update entries in the EAM system.
  • Maintain Min/Max inventory levels and perform frequent cycle counts.
  • Develop Vendor‑Managed Inventory (VMI) programs as required.
  • Meet with supplier representatives to stay informed on new products and improvements.
  • Expedite urgent deliveries to avoid production interruptions.
  • Maintain files related to suppliers, special projects, and requisitions.
  • Support the Maintenance Department through EAM system operation and documentation.
  • Record completed PM tasks, organize documentation, and request materials according to feedback.
  • Track work orders in EAM and order materials as needed for completion.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with ISO 45001, ISO 14001, IATF 16949, ISO 9001, and company policies.
