About The Position

Your mission Keep production moving by ensuring every tool, die, material, part, and piece of equipment is accounted for, cared for, and ready to use. Working under direct supervision, you will manage the tooling storeroom and support the flow of operations. How you will excel Control the issuance and return of tools, equipment, and parts, maintaining precise records for every transaction. Investigate and locate missing or misplaced items to restore availability. Receive, unpack, and organize incoming tools, equipment, and parts; place replenishment requisitions to maintain stock levels. Input required data into business operations software and fulfill purchasing and receiving process needs. Examine tools, equipment, and parts for wear or defects and promptly notify supervisors of any issues. Maintain a clean, orderly storeroom with items properly labeled and stored. Handle clerical and administrative tasks as assigned by the manager. Contribute in weekly and monthly team meetings to align on priorities. As needed, interface with purchasing and receiving; repair, service, or lubricate tools and equipment; deliver items to workers manually or via hand truck; and mark/identify equipment using tags, stamps, or an electric marking tool.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED) and one year related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
  • Regularly: stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear.
  • Occasionally: sit.
  • Must occasionally lift and/or move more than 50 pounds.
  • Regularly: use close vision and color vision.
