About The Position

See better. Live better—while keeping our operations moving. Bausch + Lomb (NYSE/TSX: BLCO) is a global eye health leader with a 170-year legacy, a portfolio of 400+ products, and approximately 13,000 employees across ~100 countries. Our mission is simple and powerful: helping you see better, to live better. Role snapshot As our MRO Storeroom Inventory Specialist, you’ll own the flow of maintenance parts—from receipt and cycle counting to purchasing and kitting—so technicians have what they need for both planned and unplanned work. A day in the life You start by receiving parts against purchase orders, resolving any receipt/match exceptions in the purchasing system. You run targeted cycle counts to keep on-hand balances accurate, then kit components for upcoming PMs. Between calls with vendors for quotes and placing orders for parts and consumables, you update the CMMS (Maximo): process change forms for existing items, create new stock records with images, assign item numbers, and slot them to the right shelf. You close out purchase orders for Engineering Services and Manufacturing, complete preventive maintenance work orders assigned to the Central Storeroom, and keep the area GMP-compliant, tidy, and safe with proper PPE. When needed, you hop in the company vehicle to pick up parts from local vendors or the offsite warehouse—and you always sign out materials in Maximo before they leave the shelf.
