About The Position

The Quality Clerk provides administrative and clerical support to the Quality Department by maintaining accurate, organized, and retrievable quality records and documentation. This role supports quality programs, training coordination, and data integrity efforts to ensure compliance with company procedures and regulatory requirements. The Quality Clerk plays a key role in supporting audit readiness and the day-to-day effectiveness of the Quality Management System.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Ability to manage files, records, and documentation in a structured manner
  • Basic data entry and recordkeeping skills
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and follow established procedures
  • Primarily office-based with desk and computer work
  • Periodic standing, walking, and bending
  • Occasional lifting of office materials up to 25 lbs

Nice To Haves

  • Prior administrative, clerical, or records support experience preferred
  • Experience in an aviation, aerospace, or regulated environment preferred

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and manage physical and electronic quality files to ensure accuracy, organization, and accessibility
  • Perform data entry of quality-related information into databases, spreadsheets, and tracking systems
  • Sort, file, scan, and archive quality documents and records in accordance with company procedures
  • Convert paper documents into electronic format to support document retention and retrieval
  • Assist with scheduling and tracking quality programs, training activities, and related documentation
  • Coordinate with Quality team members to ensure records and documentation remain current
  • Support audit preparation by organizing and retrieving required quality documentation
  • Perform other administrative duties in support of the Quality Department as assigned
  • Be familiar with the company’s safety policies, procedures, and tools relevant to their responsibilities.
  • Understand and use the confidential employee reporting system.
  • Complete all required training and maintain competence for assigned tasks.
  • Use proper tools, equipment, and approved technical data to perform work safely.
  • Wear and properly use required personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Immediately report all emergencies, incidents, accidents, and identified hazards to their supervisor or manager, as well as to the Quality/Safety Department.
  • Communicate safety-related information that could help prevent mishaps or improve operational safety.
