About The Position
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to perform high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures in an acute care setting. The ideal candidate will have experience in MRI operations, patient care, and safety protocols while ensuring accurate imaging and a positive patient experience.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of MRI experience (acute care preferred)
- Associate’s degree in Radiologic Technology
- Valid NYSDOH Radiologic Technologist License
- Current ARRT (MRI) or ARMRIT certification
- Knowledge of MRI equipment and imaging procedures
- Strong patient care and communication skills
- BLS (AHA) preferred
Responsibilities
- Perform MRI scans using appropriate protocols and equipment
- Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during scans
- Review physician orders and patient history prior to procedures
- Maintain accurate documentation in EMR systems (EPIC training provided)
- Follow safety, sanitation, and equipment maintenance protocols
- Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare teams
- Adhere to hospital policies and quality standards
