About The Position
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist to support a fast-paced acute care hospital environment. The ideal candidate will be skilled in MRI imaging, patient safety, and overnight workflow coordination.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of MRI experience in an acute care/hospital setting
- Associate’s degree in Radiologic Technology from an accredited program
- Valid New York State Radiologic Technologist License
- Current MRI certification (ARRT or ARMRIT)
- Experience with MRI systems and electronic medical records
Nice To Haves
- BLS certification (American Heart Association)
Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality MRI scans ensuring diagnostic accuracy and patient safety
- Operate and maintain MRI equipment efficiently
- Screen patients for contraindications and follow all MRI safety protocols
- Document procedures and patient data using EMR systems
- Coordinate imaging workflow with emergency and inpatient teams
- Maintain compliance with hospital policies and quality standards
