About The Position

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist to join an acute care hospital team. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and is highly skilled with GE MRI equipment.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of MRI experience in an acute care or hospital setting.
• Associate’s degree from an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Valid New York State Radiologic Technologist License.
• Current MRI certification (ARRT or ARMRIT).
• Proficiency with GE MRI equipment and EPIC EMR.

Nice To Haves

• BLS certification (American Heart Association).

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality MRI scans in an acute hospital setting, ensuring patient safety and diagnostic accuracy.
• Operate GE MRI scanners with advanced technical proficiency.
• Screen patients for contraindications and enforce MRI safety protocols.
• Document imaging and patient information accurately using EPIC.
• Coordinate overnight imaging workflow with the ER and inpatient units for urgent scans.
