About The Position

Premier Orthopaedics, in partnership with Philadelphia Hand to Shoulder, is seeking a dedicated and skilled MRI Technologist to join our team in King of Prussia, PA . As two of the region’s most respected providers of orthopedic and upper extremity care, we offer a collaborative, patient-focused environment that prioritizes clinical excellence, innovation, and ongoing professional development. The MRI Technologist will perform MRI imaging procedures on patients, following accepted standards of practice and protocols. This role includes preparing patients, maintaining patient comfort and safety, administering contrast agents, performing equipment quality checks, and completing all required documentation. The MRI Technologist collaborates with healthcare personnel, adheres to facility policies, and ensures compliance with safety, quality assurance, and confidentiality standards. This is a full time Monday-Friday position.

Requirements

  • Radiographer certification required
  • Additional state-specific licenses as applicable
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as an MRI Technologist in a clinical or hospital setting

Responsibilities

  • Perform MRI imaging procedures on appropriate anatomical regions according to protocols and standards of practice.
  • Prepare patients for procedures, explain processes, and ensure patient safety, comfort, and care.
  • Administer contrast agents per site-specific protocols.
  • Perform equipment quality checks, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate service calls as needed.
  • Maintain technical competency through ongoing education.
  • Cooperate with facility healthcare personnel and comply with all facility policies and procedures.
  • Provide images to facilities in the required format.
  • Maintain a clean environment in the imaging suite and surrounding areas.
  • Complete all administrative and documentation tasks accurately.
  • Follow quality assurance guidelines, patient confidentiality regulations, and all safety policies.
  • Assist with setup and teardown of equipment as needed following SMS and manufacturer guidelines.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
