About The Position
Aspirus Wausau Hospital in Wausau, WI is seeking an MRI TECHNOLOGIST to join our MRI team! Under general supervision and according to established policies and procedures, performs quality diagnostic MRI scans. The MRI Technologist will have an above average knowledge of MRI equipment. Complies with performance measures and/or activities to assure patient/customer satisfaction results, clinical quality benchmarks, and operational financial targets are constantly maintained. Complies with and participates in maintaining an environment which supports our philosophy and values. HOURS: 1.0 FTE/80 hours every two weeks working PM shifts with on-call rotation requirement
Requirements
- Knowledge of radiology standards and procedures as they relate to MRI normally acquired through graduation of an approved radiology school, an Associate's Degree in Radiology, or sufficient on the job training to meet ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification requirements.
- MRI Certification
- Current BLS certification or obtained within 90 days of hire
- ARRT RADIOLOGY OR MEDICAL SONOGRAPHY OR NUC MED
- CPR or BLS
