About The Position

Under the direction of the radiologist, provides MRI services to patient for diagnosis. Closely follows physician's instructions, appropriately positions patients, prepares and operates equipment, and accurately records the images requested. HSHS St. John's Hospital is seeking a MRI Technologist to join the imaging team. Ideal candidates will work under the direction of the radiologist, provides MRI services to patient for diagnosis. Requirements

  • Associates degree in allied health, applied/radiologic science or certificate program is required.
  • One of the following is required: Certification or registry eligible as a Registered Technologist in Radiography (R.T.(R)) or a Registered Technologist in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (R.T.(MR)) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • Certification or registry eligible as a Registered Technologist by the American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT).
  • Certification must be obtained within 6 months of hire/transfer.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) required.

Nice To Haves

  • 1 year of Radiology Technology experience preferred.
  • If certified through ARRT, Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MR) certification/registry is preferred.
