About The Position

Available MR Technologist Positions: Full Time: Mid Shift - 9:30AM-6PM or 10:30AM-7PM; Every 3rd Weekend (2nd Shift); Holiday & On Call Rotation The MR Technologist: Demonstrates an understanding of human anatomy, physiology, pathology, contrast agents, MR safety and medical terminology. Maintains a high degree of accuracy in positioning and technique. Performs MRI procedures according to established protocols to obtain diagnostic information as ordered by the physician. Prepares and administers contrast at the direction of the radiologist in accordance with state and federal guidelines. Ensures the delivery of quality care in a safe environment for infant through adult patients. Remains sensitive to the physical, cultural and emotional needs of the patient through good communication, patient assessment, patient monitoring, and patient care skills in a non-judgmental and non-discriminatory manner. Engages in continuing education to enhance patient care, public education, knowledge and technical competence while embracing lifelong learning. Uses independent, professional and ethical judgment, along with critical thinking in performance of duties. Requirements

  • Completes and maintains all competencies and trainings as required for role.

  • RT (R) OR RT (MR) OR ARMRIT
