About The Position

The MRI Technologist I is responsible for providing patient care while operating equipment to produce high quality images for radiologist interpretation. This role also involves EMR/PACS navigation, general patient care, positioning patients, providing procedure information, and executing proper imaging protocol/technique for all examinations. The technologist must comply with all regulatory requirements in providing safe and appropriate care.

Requirements

• High School Diploma/ GED
• Graduate from accredited school of Radiologic Technology or MRI accredited program.
• BLS American Heart Association
• ARRT (MR) Advanced certification in MRI or American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT), or must obtain within one year of hire if not currently registered.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented.

Nice To Haves

• 2 years’ radiography experience.
• 1 year MRI experience.
• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)(R) registered
