About The Position

At NorthBay Health the MRI Technologist is an imaging technologist with demonstrated expertise and experience in MR Imaging. Performs general and specialized MRI studies, according to established Q.A. criteria. Completes required paper work and charges. Responsible for patient safety and well-being during examinations. Assists and instructs patients before and during examinations. Cleans and inspects equipment prior to use. Reports equipment malfunctions. Demonstrates the True North values. Requirements

  • High school graduate or equivalent preferred, two years of college preferred.
  • Possession of either an ARRT Registry in MRI or an ARMRIT Registry in MRI. Alternatively, possession of a California CRT and obtaining an ARRT or ARMRIT within 18 months of working at SDI.
  • Current AHA or equivalent healthcare provider BLS Certification required.
  • One year experience as an MRI Technologist.
  • Ability to perform as a working MRI Technologist.
