About The Position

POSITION SUMMARY: ​The MRI Technologist cares for patients while operating equipment to produce high quality images for radiologist interpretation. In addition the MRI Technologist is responsible for EMR/PACS navigation, general patient care, positioning patients, providing procedure information and executing proper imaging protocol/technique for all examinations. Complies with all regulatory requirements in providing safe and appropriate care.

Requirements

• High School Diploma/ GED
• Graduate from accredited school of Radiologic Technology or MRI accredited program.
• Must be ARRT eligible
• BLS American Heart Association
• ARRT (MR) Advanced certification in MRI or American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT) one year after hire if not currently registered.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented.

Nice To Haves

• 2 years radiography experience.
• 1 year MRI experience.
• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)(R)) registered.

Benefits

• Expected pay for this position is $36.39 - $47.63/hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity.
• $10,000 Sign On Bonus
• Candidates with 5+ years of direct experience will receive 24 hours of Vacation and Holiday time that will be available for use beginning day 1. This is in addition to our generous time-off benefits.
