Our hospitals in the Denver area include: Saint Joseph Hospital – Denver Good Samaritan Hospital – Lafayette Lutheran Hospital – Wheat Ridge Platte Valley Hospital – Brighton Scope: Operate a magnetic resonance scanner to obtain images used by physicians in the diagnosis and treatments of pathologies. Possess thorough knowledge and understanding of the principals and physics of magnetic resonance imaging. Select appropriate imaging techniques and protocols to complete the exam. Receive patients, explain method of examination, and position patient, perform IV puncture, and administer IV contrast agent when indicated. Independently perform and complete routine examinations. Meet the needs of the patient, family and multi-disciplinary team through effective communication, coordination and documentation ensuring safety, care, courtesy and efficiency. Actively participate in quality initiatives to ensure the highest level of patient satisfaction, highest level of patient care and workflow efficiencies. Requirements

Associate Degree or equivalent from two-year College or Technical School; or one-year minimum related experience and/or training, required
Current ARRT (R) (MR) or NMTCB registry, required
Current BLS certification endorsed by the American Heart Association, required
Ability to interact with people of all ages, required

Nice To Haves

At least one (1) year of experience as a MRI Technologist in a hospital environment, highly preferred

Responsibilities
