About The Position
The MRI Technician operates Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) equipment to capture high-quality diagnostic images. This role involves preparing patients for MRI procedures by explaining the process and ensuring safety protocols are followed, as well as positioning patients correctly to obtain accurate images. The technician monitors patients during scans, reviews images for quality, and maintains and calibrates MRI equipment. Strict adherence to safety guidelines due to strong magnetic fields is required, along with maintaining accurate patient records and collaborating with radiologists and other healthcare professionals.
