About The Position

Up to $20,000 Sign-On bonus based on experience Position Summary The MRI Tech performs diagnostic MRI examinations, following radiologist’ protocols, for evaluation and treatment by attending physician. Provides radiologist with pertinent clinical information. Demonstrates complete working knowledge of MRI scanner and related equipment. Performs routine protocols and positions patients correctly using appropriate coils. Participates in the quality, process and performance improvement initiatives as requested. Performs timely documentation in radiology computer systems. Meets departmental performance expectations and Customer Service Standards of Excellence. Qualifications Qualifications for Internal Candidates EDUCATION Graduate of accredited program in radiologic technology Associate's Degree preferred EXPERIENCE 2 years experience in MRI preferred REQUIRED CERTIFICATION/LICENSURE/REGISTRATION ARRT registered and certified in MRI within 1 year of hire into the position. Florida license American Heart Association BLS certification #LI-TK1 Tenet complies with federal, state, and/or local laws regarding mandatory vaccination of its workforce. If you are offered this position and must be vaccinated under any applicable law, you will be required to show proof of full vaccination or obtain an approval of a religious or medical exemption prior to your start date. If you receive an exemption from the vaccination requirement, you will be required to submit to regular testing in accordance with the law.

Requirements

  • Graduate of accredited program in radiologic technology
  • ARRT registered and certified in MRI within 1 year of hire into the position.
  • Florida license
  • American Heart Association BLS certification
