About The Position

The MRI Radiologic Technologist, under the supervision of the Radiologist, is required to perform routine MRI procedures and invasive MRI procedures. The Technologist must exhibit expertise in patient care based on the patient’s needs appropriate for the infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient. The Technologist must utilize good public relations and decision-making skills to incorporate patient education and professionalism and adhere to the commitment of quality exhibited by Bradley Medical Center. General Responsibilities: Observe professional ethics in maintaining confidential information acquired concerning the personal, financial, medical, or employment status of patients at Tennova Cleveland and their families. Must follow and enforce accepted safety practices for patients and the hospital. Participate in Performance improvement activities. Communicate in an acceptable and easily understood manner. Educates and adheres to patient bill of rights.

Requirements

  • Associate degree in Applied Science (Radiology) or graduate of an approved program of Radiologic Technology as evidenced by verification of ARRT database.
  • American Registry of Radiological Technologists (A.R.R.T.) or American Registry of MRI Technologists (ARMRIT).
  • BLS is required within 30 days of the hire date.

Nice To Haves

  • One (1) year MRI experience preferred.
