About The Position

The MRI Technologist is responsible for performing high-quality MRI exams in a timely manner while maintaining a strong understanding of MRI safety protocols, including those related to research workflows. They interact positively with multiple patient populations and serve as a member of the interdisciplinary patient care team. Flexibility is essential, as the position may require on-call availability and holiday coverage. Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Graduate from ARRT accredited MRI educational program OR Graduate from ARMRIT accredited MRI education program
• One year of MRI experience preferred.
• ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT at hire (Preferred)ORARRT in one of these Radiography (R)/Nuclear Medicine (N)/Radiation Therapy (T)/ Sonography (S) required and get ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT within 24 months of hire date
• Current BLS Required
• Proficient in operating an MRI scanner and adjusting imaging parameters
• Well-versed and compliant in MRI safety and understands research workflow for MRI safety requirements
• Patient positioning & comfort while ensuring patient safety

• The ability to work independently and work well with team members.
• Capable of performing timely, quality MRI exams

Nice To Haves

• ARRT (MR) preferred.
• Associates degree or Bachelor’s degree preferred
• One year MRI experience preferred.
