The Department of Mathematics at the University of Pittsburgh invites applications for a three-year MRC Postdoctoral position in Analysis, to begin in the fall term of 2026, pending budgetary approval. A Ph.D. in Mathematical Sciences or a closely related discipline is required. We seek excellence in research in Analysis and in teaching. Applicants should supply: (a) a cover letter describing possible interactions with the Analysis faculty at the Department, and, if possible, but not required, a link to publications and preprints, (b) a CV, and (c) a statement of research accomplishments and future plans. (d) a description of teaching credentials and experience (e) at least three letters of reference, one of which should also address your teaching. The teaching load for this position is 3 courses per year, in addition to other duties, which include conducting research in Analysis.
