About The Position

Responsibilities: Perform MPD rig surveys, provide recommendations and document requirements efficiently. Supervise field installation and operation of MPD operations, including pre-job planning, equipment readiness, logistics, supervision of all on-site personnel, and post-well performance reporting. Installing, testing, operating and maintaining all aspects of MPD equipment including, but not limited to MPD choke manifolds, Coriolis meters, Software controls, etc. Assist in the setup, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of MPD systems and equipment for onsite MPD applications. Manage onsite client relationships and expectations. Effective communication with field, base, office, and management personnel. Participate in the design and supervision of all MPD field tests. Conduct safety meetings, inspections, and audits to identify and address any safety concerns. Ability to train and mentor MPD operators. Participate in developing technical MPD procedures and policies to ensure safe and efficient operations. Ensure that equipment and activities meet all internal, local, and client regulations and requirements. Experience with applicable industry and regulatory codes, standards, and recommended practices. Adhere to and participate in Iron Horse Tool’s Health, Safety, and Environmental (“HSE”) policies and procedures. Qualifications Required Qualifications: 5+ years of experience in managed pressure drilling operations and 2 years as an MPD Supervisor In-depth knowledge of MPD technologies, Equipment, Process and Information Diagrams, Flow Systems and applications. Strong understanding of drilling operations and well control principles. Understanding of Downhole Hydraulics, electronics and mechanical troubleshooting. Experience working in the L48 regions Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and within groups. Proven ability to work effectively in the field, under pressure and manage multiple tasks Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make decisions under pressure. Proficient in Microsoft Office products.
