About The Position

Responsibilities:
Installing, testing, operating and maintaining all aspects of MPD equipment including, but not limited to MPD choke manifolds, Coriolis meters, Software controls, etc.
Rig up/down function test, pressure test and operation of all MPD equipment, including the completion of all field required documentation onsite or in IHT's facility.
Communicate with internal personnel, clients and third-party service providers.
Manage onsite client relationships and expectations.
Troubleshoots MPD equipment and implements corrective actions.
Train rig crews to operate the IHT's MPD systems as required.
Engage in the day-to-day well drilling operations
Ensure the operational parameters of the MPD program are followed at all times
Adhere to and participate in Iron Horse Tool’s Health, Safety, and Environmental (“HSE”) policies and procedures.
Requirements:
Must be able to work outdoors in all climates.
Flexibility to work at any IHTs facility as required
Ability to travel to various locations within the L48 operational basins and IHTs locations

• Ability to travel to various locations within the L48 operational basins and IHTs locations
• 5+ years of oilfield experience, with at least 1 year of MPD related experience
• Understanding of MPD drilling operations, Downhole Hydraulics, electronics and mechanical troubleshooting.
• Experience working in the L48 regions
• Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and within groups.
• Proven ability to work effectively in the field, under pressure and manage multiple tasks
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make decisions under pressure.
• Proficient in using Microsoft Office applications.
