Responsible for the safe day-to-day operations and maintenance of the gas gathering pipeline systems and compressor stations (e.g., field compressor station equipment, pumps, gas compressors, coolers, dehydration equipment, and control systems). Coordinates with plant personnel to minimize the impact of field-related activities on the plant’s inlet volumes. Also responsible for the safe completion of all pipeline repair and maintenance. This position is responsible for safely operating the gathering system in the most efficient manner possible with a comprehensive understanding of the pipeline system and valves. Safely perform pipeline operations and maintenance activities on pipeline systems including compressor stations, gas storage, dehydration facilities, pumps, measurement facilities, and related equipment which may include, but is not limited to: Startup and shutdown of equipment Pigging operations Collecting liquids Gauging tanks Locating and marking lines when on-call notification is received to ensure pipelines are not damaged by contractors or excavation. Leakage survey/patrolling pipelines Pressuring, purging, and blowing down of field facilities/pipeline system. Operating and maintaining field glycol dehydration systems including dehydrator glycol pump repair; also, methanol injector pump repair. Monitoring usage and/or replacing lubricants, fluids, inhibitors, chemicals, etc., as needed to ensure safe and efficient operation of equipment. Exchanging information regarding pipeline operations, maintenance, and other activities with public/governmental officials, employees, contractors, customers, producers, and landowners. Completing new and retro fit pipeline/facility equipment installations, as directed. Overseeing or performing repairs of station equipment. Construction inspection, as directed Ensuring all compressors stations are maintained in clean working order and weed-free. Calculate, compile, and/or prepare information and reports including, but not limited to: gas/liquid flow and quality, maintenance and/or repair logs, samples (gas/liquids) information, pipeline/corrosion activities, compliance with appropriate regulatory requirements. Ability to maintain confidentiality and recognize situations in which confidentiality is required. Ability to organize, prioritize, and complete multiple tasks and projects in a timely manner. All other duties as assigned.
