Job Overview The Crew Lead is responsible for managing a number of groundskeeping teams. The crew lead is responsible for maintaining existing grounds, monitoring and training workers, supervising the use of equipment, ensuring staff observe safety guidelines and protocols, and completing various administrative duties. You should also have leadership skills and sound knowledge of pesticides and chemicals. Responsibilities and Duties This is a hands-on position. Lead a crew in mowing precisely and within a posted schedule. Drive a crew in a truck with a trailer. Familiarity with all commercial mowing equipment; mowers, trimmers, etc. Ability to perform minor repairs. JOB REQUIREMENTS: We are looking for candidates who are hard-working, enjoy working outdoors and are looking for a career in landscape. Willingness to work in all types of weather (heat, rain, cold) Willingness to work some Saturdays as workload and weather during busiest times of year may dictate. Ability to stay motivated and work efficiently. Must have a valid driver's license with a good driving record.
