About The Position
HCA HealthONE Swedish is seeking a neurologist with a focus in Movement Disorders to work in the region's premier neurosciences program at HCA HealthONE Swedish, a Comprehensive Stroke and Level I Trauma Center. About HCA HealthONE Neurology Specialists and HCA HealthONE Swedish (Swedish): HCA HealthONE Neurology Specialists is a dynamic and collegial faculty group committed to excellence in both clinical care and medical education Swedish is a Level I Trauma Center and acute care hospital with 504 licensed beds Swedish is home to an ACGME accredited categorical neurology residency, with 6 resident spots per year Swedish serves as the Rocky Mountain Region's referral center for neurotrauma and as the region's first Joint Commission certified Comprehensive Stroke Center Located in Englewood, CO, Swedish has served the south Denver metro area for over 115 years Denver is one of the healthiest and fastest-growing cities in the country. The mile-high city enjoys breathtaking views of the Rockies to the west and residents are 90 minutes from some of the best skiing and hiking in the world. Requirements
- Board certified/board eligible in neurology
- Excellent communication skills and a passion for resident education and outpatient neurology
Nice To Haves
- Fellowship in Neuromuscular Medicine preferred
- Prior academic or teaching experience preferred but not required
- Opportunities to teach, mentor, and conduct scholarly activities aligned with ACGME milestones
