Requirements

• 1-2 years' experience in residential property management or customer service role preferred.
• Proficiency in personal computer skills, keyboard, Internet search, email correspondence, math, Microsoft Office, including Word,
• Excel, and other software applications preferred (i.e. Yardi, Payscan).
• Effective communication and interaction with customers, vendors, management, co-workers, sufficient to exchange or convey information and to give and receive work direction.
• Strong service and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multi-task, prioritize and complete assigned duties to ensure operational objectives are achieved.
• Must possess a positive and professional demeanor in all interactions, under all circumstances.
• Must be available to work a flexible scheduled, including weekends, off-hours and emergencies as required.
• Knowledge of OSHA laws and regulations.
• Ability to travel to other regional locations for work, training, meetings and other work-related activities.
• May require use of personal/company vehicle or electrical cart.
• Must be able to fulfill the performance standards of this position and comply with policies, rules and procedures of the company, including those set out in the Employee Handbook or otherwise communicated (verbally or writing) to employees.

Responsibilities

• Owns the move-in process and ensures a seamless onboarding experience for new residents.
• Own the full applicant screening and approval process
• Review applications for completeness, accuracy, and eligibility
• Verify employment, income, rental history, and references
• Coordinate background and credit checks and follow up on discrepancies
• Oversee the applicant board and work with RL to ensure timely updates and smooth move-ins
• Escalate complex cases to the Resident Services Manager
• Walk units prior to move-in to verify readiness and document unit condition
• Manage keys, latches, and RL access for move-ins
• Collect and audit renter's insurance documentation
• Manage resident onboarding for parking, storage, and pets/animals
• Curate and prepare move-in welcome gifts to enhance resident experience
• Oversee day-to-day resident requests and inquiries
• Manage the One Chicago main email inbox, ensuring timely and professional responses
• Handle daily volume of phone calls and emails, prioritizing urgent requests and routing appropriately
