About The Position

Big Sky Resort is seeking a Children’s Program Supervisor to help run our rapidly growing Mountain Sports School.

Requirements

• Previous Snowsports Experience
• Previous experience managing people
• Previous experience scheduling preferred
• Self-motivated team player
• Ability to collaborate and work with others
• Friendly and dependable

Nice To Haves

• PSIA-AASI Level 2 Certification Preferred

Responsibilities

• Responsible for forecasting demand and scheduling instructors appropriately for volume
• Collaborate with other divisional Supervisors/Managers to develop staffing plans each day
• Run complex daily line-ups coordinating as a team with other supervisors and on-snow supervisors
• Identify weaknesses in programs and implement plans for improvement
• Enhance the guest experience and make decisions to solve problems for our guests
• Coach and evaluate instructors, use disciplinary action as necessary
• Ensure that instructors are getting paid on-time and accurately
• Provide exceptional guest service. Field guest complaints and actively work to resolve them
• Communicate effectively with managers, supervisors, and instructors
• Maintain good relationships with other departments at the resort
• Be involved with staff development
• Communicate information to instructors in a timely manner
• Inspire trust and confidence in the supervisor team
• Communicate and Promote LEAD Boyne Basics
• Be a fair, consistent, and predictable leader
