About The Position

Year-round, full-time. As a Mountain Electrician, you will support the operation of lifts, snowmaking, lodges, and on mountain utilities through maintenance, condition monitoring, installing, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical equipment. Requirements

Understand and comply with electrical safety standards
Perform work at various heights in varying weather conditions
Safely operate machinery
Learn, retain and understand information in prints, manuals, and diagrams
Desire to learn about the mountain and its electrical systems
Weekend and holiday availability
Available to be on-call for electrical emergencies
Must be capable of lifting 50+ pounds repeatedly

Responsibilities

Install equipment that conforms to NEC standards
Perform regular preventative maintenance
Troubleshoot and repair equipment
Monitor equipment for proper operation, understanding the principles it operates under and what its purpose is
Train and instruct the equipment operators
Maintain a safe work environment
Work collaboratively with supervisor and team members to complete necessary tasks
Other duties as assigned
