About The Position

Elk Grove Power Sports is welcoming motivated, detail-oriented Motorcycle/Power Sports Technicians to join our Service Department team. Mechanical experience (even working on personal cars, equipment, or motorcycles) is preferred, and technicians of all experience levels are encouraged to apply. Requirements

  • Mechanical experience or technical schooling required
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Basic computer skills
  • Positive, friendly attitude with a customer first mindset
  • Enjoy working in a fast paced environment
  • Team player
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Ability to learn new technology, repair and service procedures, and specifications

Responsibilities

  • Perform work listed on repair orders efficiently and in line with dealership and manufacturer standards
  • Test drive vehicles and evaluate components/systems using diagnostic tools and specialized service equipment
  • Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, and more
  • Communicate directly with the Service Advisor to keep customers informed about recommended services and provide clear time estimates
  • Complete warranty repairs according to manufacturer specifications
