About The Position

The Vermont Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) is seeking an enthusiastic team player to join us as Motor Vehicle Call Center Agent! This position will help you develop your skills in customer service, administration, and data management while working under the guidance of a dedicated Unit Supervisor who supports your growth. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor, excellent organizational abilities and attention to detail, and a commitment to providing top-notch service to our community. Although the full salary range for this position is provided, new hires are typically made at the salary range minimum.

Responsibilities

  • Handle all incoming calls and electronic inquiries with professionalism and efficiency
  • Process various applications accurately and swiftly
  • Manage fees, audits, and weekly statistics with precision
  • Maintain office supplies and ensure everything is in order
  • Research and resolve transactions from all DMV offices across Vermont
  • Exercise independent judgment within legal guidelines
