About The Position

This temporary Motocross Front Gate Attendant position at Mammoth Mountain offers a unique experience to interact closely with riders and their pit crews from across the country. Attendants serve as the initial point of contact each morning, managing a fast-paced check-in process for riders and subsequently selling tickets to guests. The role requires early morning presence, with shifts starting by 5:00 AM for rider/crew check-in at 5:30 AM, gates opening at 6:00 AM, and shifts concluding by 1:00 PM at the latest. The position involves spending days outdoors, greeting visitors, many of whom have a long history with the track. Key aspects include maintaining alertness due to early hours and vehicle/people movement, and being prepared for long days in the elements by wearing appropriate protection. Lunch, snacks, and water are provided during the event. This is a temporary role, with training on June 18th and the event running from June 19th to June 28th.

Requirements

• Ability to stand in the elements for 7-10 hrs
• Ability to work as a team
• Ability to be on time at 5:00 AM most mornings
• Good communication skills
• Ability to remain alert throughout the shift

Responsibilities

• Be the first point of contact for riders and their pit crews
