About The Position

Amazon internships are full-time positions, and interns should expect to work Monday-Friday, up to 40 hours per week typically between 8am-5pm. Specific team norms around working hours will be communicated by your manager. Interns should not have conflicts such as class or other employment during the Amazon workday. The Motion Design Intern position is a full-time role within our Lifecycle Marketing Design Team, working Monday-Friday during standard business hours. This position offers hands-on experience in developing high-quality cinemagraphs and motion graphics content for Digital Out of Home, B2B Sizzle reels, and broadcast platforms. We seek a creative and technically skilled individual to work directly with our design team on various marketing initiatives. This role provides practical experience in professional motion design while contributing to real-world projects that reach a global audience. This internship provides exposure to industry-standard workflows and creative processes. Successful candidates will build their portfolio while working on meaningful projects under experienced designers. IMPORTANT NOTE: Please include a portfolio link in resume.

Requirements

• Work 40 hours/week minimum and commit to 12 week internship minimum
• Currently enrolled in a relevant Master’s degree program (Motion Design, Digital Arts, or similar) with expected graduation conferral date between December 2026 and June 2028
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (After Effects, Photoshop, Premiere Pro)
• Strong understanding of motion design principles and cinemagraphs
• Demonstrated ability to adapt files across different specifications and formats
• Strong portfolio showcasing motion and design skills
• Understanding of video codecs and rendering optimization
• Excellent organizational and communication skills

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of Cinema 4D
• Experience with audio integration and sound design
• Understanding of broadcast standards
• Previous internship or project experience
• Familiarity with current motion design trends

Responsibilities
